Patrick
Lichfield (Thomas Patrick John Anson, 5th Earl of Lichfield) (25
April 1939 – 11 November 2005) was an English photographer.
He
went to Sandhurst Military Academy, served in the Grenadier Guards
(1959–'62) and became a photographer. He has achieved success in
travel and publicity work as well as in many personal royal
portraits, and in 1991 produced Elizabeth
R: A Photographic Celebration of 40 Years.
He created the well-known Unipart calendar, and has published many
books, including his autobiography, Not
the Whole Truth (1986).
